A compact printed hybrid‐mode antenna for dual‐band dual‐sense circular polarisation

چکیده

A compact printed hybrid-mode antenna for dual-band dual-sense circular polarisation (CP) has been proposed. To achieve CP, a hybrid mode produced by an L-shaped element and loop is used. In the lower frequency band, left-handed CP radiated vertical electric field from horizontal element. higher right-handed Both elements produce resonances in bands. The operational principle clarified using simulated orthogonal components of fields current distributions. Parametric studies are discussed design procedure. measured input reflection coefficient, axial ratio, absolute gain, radiation pattern presented. bandwidths −10dB-input coefficient with 3dB-axial ratio 2.37–2.55 GHz (7.32%) band 3.38–3.70 (9.04%) band. size 0.0741λ2.452 0.151λ3.52 (λ f wavelength at GHz).
